What is Beard and Mustache Transplantation?

Hair follicles taken from the scalp in the beard and mustache area of men are transplanted to areas where there is no hair or where it is very sparse. Can it be applied to beardless men?

However, the fact that the patient to be transplanted is brunette or blonde does not affect the treatment process in any way. Patients with different hair and beard color also need to be analyzed. It is useful to warn the patient about the possible outcome in advance.

How is Beard and Mustache Transplantation Performed?
Beard and mustache transplantation is a one-session procedure performed under local anesthesia. It is a painless procedure that takes about 4-5 hours. On the next day of the procedure, small crusts can be seen in the transplanted area. But it soon passes. The hair at the ends of the transplanted roots shed after 15 days. This is a normal process. After three months, the hair starts to grow again. Within 6-8 months, the patient will have the beard and mustache he desires.
